There’s a whole network called DIY. Even $10,000 should be a no-brainer for them…or maybe they hope somebody picks it up and they can get it gratis via a UDRP.
Also, I think you may be missing a “0″ in your title

I know very little about domaining so bare with me. How is it possible that Sociologoy.com is worth $45k? Does it get that much typo mistake traffic?
