Barbara Roe, bobcat breeder and owner of Bitterroot Bobcat and Lynx, of Stevensville, MT., sold the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats her Bobcats.com domain name. She has held out on selling the name since 2004 and recently has decided to sell it for a decent amount, $50k. I think the Bobcats got a really good deal on this one. They have been using BobcatsBasketball for years and realized that they were loosing some traffic due to the longer name. I think Roe should have gotten atleast $100k for the name.
