Google is reportedly opting publishers into CPA Pay Per Action ads for adsense on a large scale. DigitalPoint members have been reporting this all day today
One publisher said that Google emailed him saying he “has been selected to” be automatically entered into his ads showing Pay Per Action ads. Within five days, Google will dynamically replace 5% or less of his normal AdSense ads with Pay Per Action ads.
Google allows you to opt out upon request, which is causing a widespread resentment of Google for doing this. Some more questions remain unanswered about the Google CPA program but this just shows us the slow move to CPA and away from CPC.
