Today, Hitwise released updated search share numbers for the US Market.

Google Inc. (GOOG) received 66% of all U.S. Internet searches during the four weeks ended Feb. 23, according to information service Hitwise.

In the year-ago period, Google received 64% of all U.S. Internet searches.

Yahoo Inc.’s (YHOO) search engine received 21% of U.S. Internet searches, Microsoft Corp.’s (MSFT) MSN Search received 7% and Ask.com received 4% of searches during the period.

The remaining 46 search engines in Hitwise’s search engine analysis tool accounted for about 2% of U.S. searches.
