Sat, Jul 14, 2007

obopay.jpgObopay, a Redwood City, CA Company that lets you send payments to people from a mobile phone, has raised $29 million more in a third round of funding.

The announcement was made very quietly; either the company is slow to get going or they don’t want to competition knowing about what they’re doing. There are at least eight other players, ranging from Google and PayPal, to smaller players like Kushcash, Paymate, Danal, PaymentOne, Payoneer and Vivotech.
